MYKE B. Mychael Ball Jr was born and raised in Midland, TX. March 25, 1991. He
began singing at the age of 7 at church and family reunions. His
songwriting talent began to bud at the age of 12. Taking no credit, he
gives all credit to God.
His first production will be recorded in
Houston, TX under Phat Barz Records & Multimedia L.L.C. with ASCAP
producer Troy Barnett (www.cdbaby.com/all/tbarnett). Mychael also
assisted Troy in the engineering and performs as the unforgettable
"Delicious D" on the track entitled, "It's about to go down" on Troy
Barnett's latest album, "I'm Not Him". This particular track is a parody of over sexualized songs that are constantly being heard on our radio stations. Troy and Mychael were inspired to write this short satirical song to show ladies that there has been a certain respect lost for them in these latter musical days. Let's bring love songs back...
Mychael feels that being in the
studio is a completely different element... "The mic can be
intimidating as hell, but when you have a passion for something, you
learn to overcome!" He also has taken vocal lessons from Trenton
Davis..."Over time I developed a better knowledge and technique with my
voice." He is currently working on his project entitled "My feelings
for You." The root of this album is the story of a relationship
including the good, bad, sexy, and the ugly. Mychael thanks past
experience for being his teacher!
Mychael is currently attending college while still pursuing his career in music!
